Dr. Reagan Bonner was born and raised in Dumas, Texas. He attended West Texas A&M University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in economics, before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011. During dental school, he received the Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry in both his junior and senior years and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.
After dental school, he returned to the Texas Panhandle to practice alongside his father, the original “Dr. Bonner.” To distinguish between the two, patients began calling him “Dr. Reagan”—a name that has stuck ever since. Orthodontics was a major part of his practice, and his passion for it led him to further his training through a three-year residency at the Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, where he earned his orthodontic specialty certificate.
Dr. Reagan is a Fellow of both the International College of Dentists and the American College of Dentists. His involvement in the profession has included serving on the board of the Panhandle District Dental Society and volunteering with the Texas Mission of Mercy. He cares deeply about making children and families feel comfortable in the office and wants patients to feel welcome and at ease throughout their care.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and Southern Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Reagan isn’t the only dental professional at home. His wife is a dental hygienist with a master’s degree in dental hygiene, and together they have four daughters – Hannah, Emily, Libby, and Carly. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and the occasional escape to the mountains for snow skiing.

Our first consultation appointment with Dr. Oman was very reassuring and comforting. My 8 yo son will be starting phase 1 with invisalign, and Dr. Oman did a good job educating us and putting our minds at ease about his orthodontics care. Their facilities are very clean and the entire staff is friendly and helpful!

Today, I went for a free consultation and the staff was very friendly and nice when I arrived for my appointment. I didn’t think I was going to be walking out the same day with the starting treatment for Invisalign. I want to give the biggest thanks to Kathy, she is the nicest, most caring person I have ever met and Dr. Oman I have to give thanks to her because she is the sweetest person and does a really good job explaining everything. Thank you Wentz Family Orthodontics for this experience and I can’t wait to start treatment soon. I definitely recommend coming to Wentz Family Orthodontics annd ask for Kathy she runs the show!!! and I hope she sees this review and laughs because it’s a little joke she told me. Took my Child here for the first time and it was a great experience. Dr. Oman and Kathy were great and really was a wonderful experience for everyone.
